(FILES) A file photo taken on July 19, 2012 shows an outlet of the French mobile telephone operator SFR in Paris. SFR announced on November 28, 2012 that it was to suppress 1,123 positions on a voluntary basis while at the same time creating 267 new ones, thus axing 856 jobs. The plan to suppress positions was announced to unions in July by chief executive officer Stephane Roussel as part of a plan to maintain SFR’s competitivity in light of the recent arrival of new operators on the market.
